In a success practice booklet I read the request: Imagine how many people would attend your funeral! This inscription would hang besides your mirror so you could read it every morning until you’ll change it. The essence of your life philosophy should light up in these comprehensive words.

Do you think it would be rather rude to be reminded every morning of your own death? In fact it is, but only in a one-way sense. If you were instructed by your soul, and by the unconscious conviction of your uninfluenced child, you could feel the never ending of life in which the death plays the role of a stagemaster giving a temporal format to the given play. The epitaph next to your mirror as a motto refers only to the essence of your role in the play, not to your immortal personality as an actor.
